Deep Philosophical Question (A Brief Post)

Is it unbelievably pretentious to correct someone who refers to "Baba O'Reilly" as "Teenage Wasteland"?

  1. I'll just say no. Baba O'Reilly is the name of the song.

  2. It's not unbelievably pretentious. I'd say moderately, at the most.

  3. If you have ever gone online to look at songs on certain websites, you will realize that there are a lot of people who don't KNOW the name of a song...and think only the refrain can be the name. SO, in my opinion, it's a good idea to correct them of this obvious mistake. I mean really, "Teen-age Wasteland?"
No Sol, it's not pretentious, just obnoxious to the person/group you are correcting. =-)
